1. Treasury/Budget and Planning Accountant

Overall Job Objectives

Responsible for preparation of the annual budget in a timely and accurate manner across the group. Preparation of assumptions and templates which is to be used in preparing the budget.

Provide direction and guidance for the treasury unit, also responsible for sourcing of facilities to finance projects, negotiation of interest rates and bank charges with financial institutions.

Principal Responsibility

• Renewal of the Group’s existing facilities.
• Apportionment of interest and other charges to subsidiaries based on their usage.
• Will attend to request for APG’s, Letters of credit, performance bonds, letters of reference from banks etc.
• Preparation of uniform set of assumptions to be employed across the group in the preparation of the budget, update such assumptions quarterly.
• Responsible for the coordination of the budget process which includes preparing and agreeing the budgeting timetable and ensuring strict adherence
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and explanations thereof.

Qualification

A Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in accounting or related discipline plus minimum of 2 years relevant experience, and a basic understanding of budgeting, planning and treasury accounting.

Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of general business management: cost management, budgeting & control, industry knowledge, strategic planning & development.

Good Supervisory/Behavioral skills: Negotiation & Persuasion, Team building & management, decision making, relationship building, professionalism, innovative and creative problem solving skills and pays attention to details.

Good Auditing background.

Basic Knowledge of modeling and reporting tools.

Strong analytical and financial accounting skills.

Good communication skills (adept in written and oral communication)

2. Relationship officer (iTECO Nig. Ltd)

Overall Job Objectives
To identify leads, create high level contacts/relationships with decision makers and or recommenders at the client place that will assure closure of leads.

Job Function

• Selling of physical security solutions (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection etc.) and other electronic systems in buildings
• Organise sales presentations with prospective clients
• Close deals
• Where applicable, organize events, promotions and other marketing activities.

Skills Required

• Ability to understand the business needs of customers that requires the application of electronic security systems
• Presentation skills
• Marketing/Sales skills
• Very personable and friendly - ability to focus, interact and establish business relationship with clients.
• Excellent communication skills (adept in written and oral communication)

Qualification
A good first degree from a reputable university

Experience
Minimum of 3 years active experience in business development and sales functions

 

3. Software Developer/Programmer (SoftWorks)

Overall job objective:
To develop and deliver robust, scalable software solutions based on defined technical/functional specifications. Balancing the practical experience of software building with business vision.

Job Function:

• Development and design of technical specifications for application development
• Designing, writing and testing of new software programs.
• Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
• Researching and investigating new technologies.
• Identifying and incorporating security requirements and applying best practices in the development of software applications e.g Capability Maturity Model (CMM), Component – based software development.

Skills Required:

• System Analysis and Design skills.
• Creative problem solving skill for generating innovative solutions.
• Analytical and drive to initiate and explore various external sources for information generation.
• Very personable- ability to focus, interact and establish relationship with Decision Makers on Solution Providers..
• Good communication skills (adept in written and oral communication).
• A good programming experience in VB. net, .Net , JAVA(J2EE),(C-sharp), SQL server 2000,Oracle 9i/10g.
• A good understanding of database system (oracle, MSSQL, mySQL etc).
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

Qualification:
A good first degree in numerate course from a reputable university. Certification in J2EE, database certifications (SQL 2000 or Oracle) would be an added advantage. Minimum of 2 years in programming. Remuneration is dependent on Skills proficiency.
